Kovin

In the presence of the representatives of the municipality of Kovin, Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia and organization HELP, the Mayor of the Municipality of Kovin, Sava Krstic, and the Country Director of organization HELP in Serbia, Timo Stegelmann, signed the Contract on project realization of the construction of a 35-housing-unit building for refugees accommodated in the collective centre in Deliblato, Kovin. All activities in regard to building construction start are currently in progress. During the following month HELP will announce the public tender for the Contractor. The construction works will be completed till October 2008.

The small-scale projects implemented by HELP Nis office consist of the purchase of orthopaedic appliances and sports rehabilitation equipment for the Cerebral and children paralysis city association Nis, the purchase of neuro-biofeedback device ProComp Infinity with software and physiological sensors and accompanying components for Daily hospital for children and adolescents of Clinic for mental health protection and child and adolescents neuropsychiatry, Clinical Center Nis and the purchase of orthopaedic appliances (such as: walkers, forearm crutches, diapers for adults), office equipment and material for art workshop for the Multiple sclerosis association Pcinja district Vranje.
