The programme focused on long-term solutions for the beneficiaries, instead of responding to their needs by providing relief items for the daily consumption. This project represented the first step in the new development-oriented strategy of HELP in Serbia. Within the scope of this project a total of 282 beneficiaries (refugees, IDPs and vulnerable local residents) were supplied with equipment and/or material for starting own economic activities. Average value of donation was set to 800 EUR. In addition, all the beneficiaries received the handbook "How to start and expand own business" in order to help them run a successful and profitable businesses.
