One of the examples of successful entrepreneurship and the persistence of the entrepreneurship spirit is the example of Budimir Savic, an IDP from Pristina. Budimir and his family live in Uzice where he decided to start his own business. Through detailed analysis the market, in accordance with his interests and abilities, he came across the information that there was only one service for computers and scanners in Uzice. At that time, German humanitarian organization HELP had started the realization of the project which was supporting small entrepreneurs on the territory of Uzice municipality. Budimir became HELP’s client and received the equipment for computer service. In October 2002 he opened and registered his service company “Alpha”. However, the first months of work, due to the poor marketing strategy, proved to be unsuccessful. In order to overcome the initial failure and to improve his knowledge and applied it further in practice, Budimir attended the entrepreneurs training organized by HELP. The successful completion of the training helped him develop good business plan and become stronger on the market. His effort paid off and his company signed contracts with big national companies and became the leading sub service for Zlatibor district.

Today he is maintaining 80% of terminals and ATM machines in that region and plans to expand the business abroad. In 2007 he plans to produce credit cards.
