Having found out about in-kind grant donation to small entrepreneurs of HELP organization, Miroslav Nikolic from Pirot, being unemployed, decided to make a difference in his life and in the life of his family. Together with his wife, also registered as unemployed, he decided to start his own small business. He applied for initial help with a thoroughly planned idea for producing decorative candles. His effort and enthusiasm resulted in a positive response from HELP. He received necessary equipment and attended the business training aiming to make his business sustainable. HELP’s counseling and received molds for candles production enabled him to establish good business relations with several wholesales which became his permanent partners. Moreover, he is about to sign a very important contract with METRO company which is going to bring him a significant product distribution enlargement. Currently, his wife, brother and one employee are involved in the production line.
