Having worked for 18 years in a shoe factory “Kostana” Sladjan Stefanovic decided to start his own business. In April 2005 he registered his business and started offering services of sewing shoes for other producers. At the same time, Sladjan began thinking of starting a complete production line of shoes in order to meet the demands of the market. He actively started to enquire about the possibilities of receiving finances for expanding his business and in November 2005 he applied for HELP programme. Due to very well presented business idea and very high entrepreneurship motivation, HELP included him in the programme. Soon after, Sladjan received an industrial sawing machine which contributed to the production progress. An additional support Sladjan received through orientation training which enabled him to improve his knowledge related to further development of business activity as well as sustainability and competition on the local market.

Sladjan presented his products on HELP stand at the 5th International Entrepreneurship Fair for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – Business Base at the Belgrade fair
