Creation of new employment opportunities in the South Serbia

Therefore the time in a row a cooperation agreement was signed between the organization Help and the City of Vranje as a confirmation of quality cooperation between this local self-government and the organization.

The cooperation agreement signed the Mayor of Vranje, Mr. Zoran Antic and the South Serbia Progamme Manager Ms. Masa Bubanj.

Part of the project activities to be implemented in Vranje are worth 92.500 EUR out of which 13.850 EUR is co-financed by the City of Vranje. Within this activity at least 31 beneficiaries will be supported thus providing new jobs for the socially disadvantaged population. The value of the individual in-kind grant amounts to an average of 1.500 EUR.

Overall objective is empowerment of the local economic structures, while the specific objectives create new employment opportunities, economic and educational support of the target group through in-kind grants and business and vocational trainings and counseling.

The project “Creation of new employment in the South Serbia” will be implemented by the organization Help from June 2013 until end of December 2014, and is financed by the Foundation Caritas Luxembourg and co-financed by Vranje and Bujanovac.

Information campaign and the presentation’s schedule will be available until the end of this month
