Donation to the health house Sombor
To the Health House „Dr Ðorđe Lazić” in Sombor Help donates ambulance vehicle, autoclave and reconstruction of the Emergency unit facility. Works on renovation of toilet facilities, entrance, stairways and hallways have been finished and the new garage door fitted, while the works on the reconstruction of the facade are being finalized.
Help Regional Coordinator for Montenegro and Serbia, Klaus Mock, points out that the total value of the donation to the Health Centre Sombor sums over hundred thousand Euros. Ambulance vehicle with the equipment is worth about 25.000 Euros, alone.
Assistance in reconstruction/renovation, medical equipment and one ambulance with equipment for emergency response are intended for Health Centres in Kanjiza, Pirot, Subotica and Sid too, within the project. The “Stabilization of the health situation for migrants/refugees and the local population” project, Help is implementing with the assistance of the German Government.
The 875.000,00 Euros worth project aims at increasing the overall capacity for temporary accommodation and provision of medical services through reconstruction of the one stop centres for migrants/refugees and health centres in the Republic of Serbia. It also envisages donation of ambulance vehicles equipped for emergency response, as well as the medical equipment thus improving the health care capacities in Serbia.
