Medical vehicles, equipment and reconstruction of health centres in Serbia

Within the Help project “Stabilization of the health situation for migrants/refugees and the local population” funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, in addition to the renewed premises, Health Centre Pirot received medical equipment and ambulance vehicle. Total value of donation to Pirot Health Center within the project amounts to 59.479,00 EUR.

The works performed consisted of painting, ceramic works and glass portals, in the value of 22.095,00 EUR. As for the equipment supplied, Health centre Pirot received medical equipment (ECG, cardiotocographs, respirators and blood pressure monitors) worth 12.384,00 and a mobile clinic-medical vehicle furnished with the equipment for provision of out-of- hospital medical care and transport of patients, worth 25.000,00 EUR.

The project worth 875.000,00 EUR aimed at temporary accommodation capacity improvement, provision of health care facilities through reconstruction, donation of ambulance vehicles and medical equipment for improvement of health care services. Two temporary accommodationcentres were constructed/renovated in Sombor and Sid, five health centres reconstructed in Kanjiza, Pirot, Sombor, Subotica and Sid, while in Presevo was reconstructed the Red Cross Facility).
