Open call for returnees and socially vulnerable in Serbia
Help announces an open call for returnees and the socially vulnerable population in Serbia.
Within the German-funded project "Migration management and support to return of asylum seekers III" Help and SKRUG - League of Roma are announcing an open call for returnees and socially vulnerable population o apply for the in-kind grant, business and professional training, and support in the reconstruction or renovation of homes.
The goal of this project is to improve the position of readmission returnees, asylum seekers and other members of socially vulnerable groups through economic empowerment and improvement of living conditions.
Available types of assistance:
- Equipment for starting micro and small entrepreneurial businesses - 110 grants (crafts, services, agriculture) for employment and self-employment;
- Business and vocational training (176 grants for business, 190 grants for vocational training) to improve knowledge, skills and qualifications for employment and self-employment (eg. IT literacy);
- Reconstruction of homes (80 grants) and basic furniture and household appliances to improve living conditions. Who can apply:
All-natural persons have the right to assistance and support - returnees under the readmission agreement, asylum seekers, members of socially vulnerable, local, population groups.
How to apply:
Applications for one or more types of assistance within the Help project, interested persons can obtain and submit through the network of info-centres (hubs) and Help offices in the Republic of Serbia from October 15 to December 15, 2021.

It is not possible to apply for:
Procurement of vehicles, procurement of animals, lease in any form, procurement of raw materials, procurement of goods for resale, cash, organisation of games of chance, lotteries and similar activities, trade in oil and petroleum products, any form of trade, production and trade of any product or activity considered prohibited under domestic regulations or international conventions and agreements.
All interested parties are kindly invited to act under the current epidemiological situation and to respect measures and recommendations to prevent infection with the COVID-19 virus and prevent the spread of this infection (maintain physical distance at all times, properly wear protective masks and use of disinfection are mandatory).
