Provision of technical support and capacity building for further development of youth employment and businesses growth in agriculture in South Serbia districts

Goals/Objectives

The overall objective of the project is to provide technical support and capacity building for further development of the selected cooperatives and promote youth businesses in agriculture in Jablanicki and Nisavski districts.

The specific objectives of the action are:

  • Develop the concept and strategy for capacity building and further development of selected cooperatives to promote youth business in agriculture,
  • Conduct technical trainings for cooperatives,
  • Build capacities of selected cooperatives to integrate youth friendly approach to support start-ups in agriculture through mentoring,
  • Lead local stakeholders’ dialogue on promotion of youth businesses in agriculture in Leskovac.

Description

The project envisages the needs assessment of the selected cooperatives in Leskovac and Nis, creation of concepts and approaches for capacity development of selected cooperatives in Jablanicki and Nisavski districts (Leskovac, Nis), development of strategies for growth with integrated approach for youth start-ups in agriculture, provision of counselling and guidance to the selected cooperatives representatives how to integrate youth groups in the employment issues and start-ups in agriculture, facilitation and implementation of the vocational trainings for the selected cooperatives, facilitation and implementation of the business trainings for the selected cooperatives, regular meetings/workshops with the selected cooperatives, evaluation instruments for facilitation and monitoring.
