Improvement of living standards in Roma settlements

The overall objective is to support the implementation of the Roma Inclusion Strategy in the Republic of Serbia.
The specific objective is to enhance the social inclusion and integration of most vulnerable Roma through the provision of sustainable and inclusive housing solutions.
Through the foreseen activities on construction and reconstruction of the target group housing objects the project will contribute to the social inclusion and integration of the Roma consequently supporting the implementation and goals of the Roma Inclusion Strategy.
- Improved living conditions for 89 Roma families
- Adapted/reconstructed and connected to the basic infrastructure 62 houses (38 in Lebane municipality and 24 in Ub municipality)
- Built 27 new housing units (1 residential facility with 12 apartments within the social housing system in Svilajnac municipality and 15 houses built on private plots of the final beneficiaries in Ub municipality)
Roma communities increased the quality of living in the settlements through provision of 1 sport playground in Lebane municipality and children’s playground in Svilajnac municipality.
