The grant contracts in average value of 2400 EUR, signed two women and 19 men dealing with 14 agricultural, four services and three craft businesses. Among the obviously prevailing agriculture businesses in farming and fruit growing, dairy, there are a few services and crafts like auto-mechanics, tyre vulcanisation, key maker, tarpaulin and awning maker, painting and photograph framing, and some production of processors for the fruit driers.

In addition to the equipment, as usual in Help development projects, the supported beneficiaries will attend business trainings (which are obligatory) and vocational (tailor made) trainings to further enhance and support the growth of the supported businesses.

This is the first economic development project implemented by Help in Zajecar, and the cooperation with this City is thriving since the inception. The project “Support to micro businesses in Serbia II” is implemented by Help in cooperation with the targeted cities and institutions, with their co-financing totalling up the donor assistance by the German government, from June 2016 until end of December 2017.
